MY2011 - Clinic Cafe

While window-shopping around at Gurney Plaza, we came across a restaurant named Clinic Cafe.

Being curious, we decided to check it out, even though we had just finished lunch.

With surgical lights, wheel chairs and beds, it was as though we were having a meal in the hospital. And to complete the theme, the waiter and waitresses actually dressed up as nurses and doctors.

After ordering our food on the Order Chit, it is then hanged behind the bed, as though it was our medical records.

For something light, we had the Caesar Salad, which was served in a kidney-shaped bowl.

To complement the surgical theme, the utensils for our salad were provided in a surgical tray.

As for drinks, we ordered the iced coffee that came with a syringe containing sugar.

While I had also expected the honey lemon tea to be served in a beaker, they disappointingly came in a normal coffee cup.

Nevertheless, it was a fun experience. With the mushrooming of themed restaurants in Malaysia, I wonder what’s next!!
