Made famous by Masterchef Australia and dubbed as ‘Australia’s most effective croquembouche salesman’, Adriano Zumbo is a chef with a passion for sweets and the art of pastry.
Dropping by his Balmain Patisserie, we decided to try several of his unique creations, such as the Passiondor, What A Great Pear Of, Yuzu No a Nothing, and Youranuse.
Not forgetting also, are Adriano’s signature macarons, which came in passionfruit, fig and burnt honey, mandarin, rice pudding, coffee creme brulee, butterscotch caramel and blackcurrant flavours.
While we enjoyed the desserts very much, it was also a record spend for us. Never spent that much on desserts before!!
