The award winning six acre Victoria State Rose Garden is a “hidden” tourist gem in Victoria.

Hidden behind a screen of trees from the carpark of the Mansion at Werribee Park, the Garden boasts over 5000 roses, planted in a stylised rose design.

Among the roses with interesting names included the:
- Chicago Peace

- Fragrant Plum

- Red Cross

- Blue Moon

- Memoire

- Aspirin

- Elizabeth of Glamis

- Golden Years

Not sure how they decided on those names, but with roses originating from all over the world, the Garden is like the United Nations, but for Roses.
