While browsing through the shops at Queensbay, we came across an interesting restaurant known as the T-Bowl Concept Restaurant.
Apparently, the idea of a T-Bowl or Toilet Bowl Restaurant originated while the founder was sitting on a toilet bowl one day, and had an idea of eating while sitting there. Hence, he decided to introduce this concept into the food industry.
The restaurant is generally designed based on a bathroom concept, where toothbrushes (on the menu), shower heads (along the wall), toilet bowls (seats), basins and baths (tables) are commonly used for their interior decorations.
Serving a range of oriental food, the bathroom concept is also extended to the plates and cups, where toilet bowl covers are used as plates and mini toilet bowls as cups.
Although sounding gross, we reckon it was actually an interesting idea.
