A friend of mine was on a business trip to Sydney and he wanted to visit a vineyard. And since we were visiting Kiama, we decided to head further down to the Crooked River Winery in Gerrigong, instead of driving three hours north to the Hunter Valley.
Crooked River Winery is a family owned and operated winery. Completed in 2001, all the wines are made and bottled on the estate, nestled in a scenic location with spectacular views of the lush mountain ranges and the ocean.
Producing a range of nice wines and ports, we bought a bottle of Shiraz to complement our dinner for that night.
