AU2012 - Yok Yor

Although quirky uniforms are commonly associated with themed restaurants, Yok Yor is one of the few exceptions.

Since I wouldn’t consider Yok Yor to be a themed restaurant, it is therefore quite amusing to find the chefs wearing hard hats as uniforms.

Also, their description of Thai food factory does not relate well to the hard hats. Maybe they should consider changing the description to Thai Food Construction Site?!?! LOL!!!

During our visit, we started off with the Gai Hor Bai Teuy, which are fried chicken pieces with pandan leaves, and Moo Ping, their special BBQ pork skewers (that looked like beef).

For something more filing, we then had the Ba Mee Moo Dang Keaw, …

… Rad Na, …

… and Gao Man Gai.

As for the drinks that accompanied our meal, the Pandan Juice and Longan Juice are something not to be missed.

The verdict, while we always enjoyed our meals at Yok Yor, we did felt the inconsistency in taste during subsequent visits.
