On our final day, we departed Magnetic Island on an early ferry …
… across to Townsville in order to ensure that we didn’t miss our flight. Surprisingly, our ferry trip this time was a lot smoother, compared to our first day.
And upon arrival at the Breakwater Ferry Terminal, we were again met by the colourful shuttle bus, which then transported us directly to Townsville airport.
The only disappointment for the day though, was the 10-minute delay by Virgin Blue. The advantage as guests, however, was the opportunity to watch free Live2air shows on-board. That really helped in killing time and I am sure it did enhance everyone’s travel experience!
