While shopping around The Galleries Victoria (TGV), Sydney, we saw an interesting sign that says “The Best Laksa in Sydney”.
So, to cure our curiosity, we decided to drop by for lunch.
Besides serving laksa, several other choices of Malaysian delicacies include Nasi Lemak, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Satay, Ipoh Hor Fun, Har Mee and Roti Canai were also on offer.
Since they claimed to have the best laksa in town, we tested the asam laksa …
… and also the Seafood Kway Teow Siram (which was new to the menu).
Overall, I would say that the food is reasonably priced, but the soup is a bit too light (could have a thicker flavour), and just a bit too oily. As advertised, it may the best laksa in Sydney (although I haven’t try all the laksas yet), but I guess the best ones are still back in Malaysia.
