While attending the Sydney International Boat Show, we decided to stay a night over at the recently reconstructed Hilton Sydney.
Although we were a bit disappointed with the check-in time of 3pm, we were quite impressed with the design and in-room facilities. Featuring contemporary designs, the smart usage of mirrors around the room actually made the place looked spacious.
Besides, in addition to the standard hotel provisions …
… they also provide state-of-the-art technology in all their rooms, such as VOIP telephony (claimed to be the first hotel in Australia to introduce it), …
… electronically-controlled blinds and reading lights, …
… and AQUAVISION (a built-in TV in the shower).
Unfortunately, although there was a small instruction card on how to use the TV, …
… the remote was no where to be found.
Anyway, I suppose, the biggest priority of every hotel guest is to get a good night’s sleep. And that was actually the biggest disappointment that we received from our stay at Hilton Sydney. Although we were located up at level 26, …
… Sydney’s streets were just too noisy for one to have a good sleep. I think, Hilton should consider investing in sound-proofed glass for all their hotel rooms.
