Our second last day at Tokoriki is known as the “Romance Package” day, where in addition to the gifts and champagne that we received on Day 1, we got to enjoy a private island picnic and an one hour massage session, which was all scheduled on the same day. As we had to depart early for the private picnic at Monu Island, we decided to skip breakfast and just feast on the provided food for brunch.

Our 15 minutes boat ride this time was much calmer than the trip to Monuriki two days earlier. Departing from Tokoriki, …

After chatting with the other couple, it seems that for the private island picnic, there are two locations available. From the picture below, the one that we went to was located on the right hand side of the island, where our hut was facing the Yanuya village. Here, we got a full stretch of beach for our picnic, but poor reefs for our snorkelling. On the other side of the island, you don’t get a big stretch of beach, but you get to enjoy Monu’s fringing reefs. So, it might be a good idea to request for the side of island (depending on what you want to do), if going in the future.

Anyway, after spending several hours on the island, we were picked up and headed back to Tokoriki, where we relaxed by the poolside, …
… killing time, before our massage session. While waiting by the poolside enjoying our complimentary afternoon tea, …

… a seaplane landed at Tokoriki, which reminded us of our initial plan to fly into Tokoriki by seaplane instead of by helicopter.
We soon headed over to the Senikai Spa Fiji’s bure …
… for our one hour massage session.
Our treatment room
Unfortunately, instead of a full hour, it was more like a 40 minutes rushed job. Anyway, we decided to have a shower and just relaxed in the pool for the remaining evening, ...
… before heading off for dinner.
Private dining deck
Since it was our last night at Tokoriki, we booked the private dining deck again, so that we get to enjoy the beautiful sunset …

As usual, it was a great location to see the fire lighting ceremony.
After dinner, …
… when we were back to our bure, we received a Moce Mada (Fijian for good bye) notice …
… that detailed our check-out procedures and departure time.
