Over the ANZAC long weekend, we suddenly decided to go to Sydney... but, without purpose. We ended up just going for food and surprisingly, for the first time ever, we did not go to Takumi for lunch. Instead, we opted for Taste of Shanghai at World Square.
Arriving just after lunch hour, we decided to try something light, such as their pan fried pork dumplings …
… shallot cake …
… and of course, their famous Shanghai mini steamed pork buns.
Right after that, we went for dessert at Pancakes on the Rocks, Darling Harbour.
Here, we ordered their famous Blueberry Heaven …
… and a plate of potato wedges with sweet chilli sauce as a side.
Out of curiosity, we also decided to try their chocolate flavoured Swiss Shake (why Swiss??).
As we got out from the restaurant, we were just in time to capture the wonderful view of Darling Harbour’s dusk.
Next, we walked over to Capitol Square, where we had our dinner at MillioRe.
Here, we tried their dak bulgogi (bulgogi chicken) …
… and grape juice (canned).
However, after having so much food within that few hours, the highlight of the day was the pachinko machines …
… that we saw at Capitol Square.
