Although The Sanctuary Spa, located at Gurney Hotel, Penang, is a female only spa and beauty care centre, they do offer a Couple's Package once in a while. During our stay at Gurney, we decided to give their Couple's Package a try, due to the cheaper price compared to The Suite Spa, which is located just beneath it.

… offers eight luxurious suites, all with their own exclusive steam room, …
… jacuzzi, shower cubicle …
… and a separate changing area.
Initially, we opted for the advertised package that offers a foot bath, Balinese massage and an aromatherapy bath.
However, without realising, the package list available at the reception differs from the one advertised in the room. Hence, we only had a foot bath, foot scrub and the Balinese massage.
All in all, except for the little blunder on the advertised package, I think the crew at Sanctuary actually did a commendable job.

Hi..was at Gurney Hotel last June 30th..wanted to try out this spa you recommended but it is no longer there! Taken over by Sampoerna Spa(???).. where has Sanctuary moved? When? Any contact number and new venue? Thanks
If I am not mistaken, they had a management change last year. Seems that Sanctuary and Suite Spa has now been renamed to Samsara Suite Spa.
